Stuck on what to buy your significant other? Take a look at our list of 10 adventures and gifts from Wales which will brighten up your day…

The OG… Flowers

It might be a cliche but everyone loves flowers for Valentine's Day, so celebrate your special day and support some local Welsh florists. If you're celebrating in North Wales take a look at Llandudno based Scent with love, who also offer wedding flowers (hint hint). If you’re based in the capital buy your loved one a bouquet of roses from Fleur de Luxe. Alternatively if you’re based in a different part of Wales or the UK, search for Welsh florists through Flowers From the Farm and discover other florists near you.

Head to a Six Nations game

With the Six Nations underway, why not book a day out with the family or your partner and support Wales? Whether you’re crossing the border to watch the England v Wales game or supporting the boys on the home turf, it’s a day out you won’t want to miss. There are still tickets available for the France and Italy games at Principality so act quick and grab yourself some tickets now!

Go all romantic on Llanddwyn Island

When celebrating a day of love, we can’t forget the Welsh Patron Saint of Lovers, St Dwynwen. While the “Welsh Valentine's Day” is held on the 25th January, you can visit the magical island of Llanddwyn and visit her shrine any time. Legend has it that you can test your lover's faithfulness by scattering breadcrumbs in her well and if they are disturbed by the movement of eels then you have a keeper…

A Welsh classic… a love spoon

Looking for an alternative to flowers? Present your loved one with a love spoon on the 14th and take part in centuries old celtic tradition.
